Instant Shape Size Chart

Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

Surprising result

I bought this for my partner as they have enjoyed wearing corsets in the past and I wanted to give them a a little self confidence boost. Something else my partner struggles with is a chronic back pain which is difficult to manage. However, after wearing this corset for a day, they found that they had little to no back pain in the evening after being sat in a computer chair all day! This is something that very rare, and we're now looking into other corsets which may also help with the regular back pains. I would really recommend people give this a try if they are also suffering from spine problems.

It's okay for a costume piece, but don't expect any significant waist reduction- the pattern is too tube shaped for that. If you have wide hips it will definitely cut in. The construction and materials are way better than I'd expect for the price, but the pattern just isn't curvy enough for the waist reduction the description promises.
