Our sizing chart below is to be used with your body measurements. "Instant Shape" corsets are rated to a 2" Waist Reduction and are to be worn with at least a 2" gap at the back. This is already factored in to our size chart. Simply select the Corset Size that corresponds with Your Natural Waist Measurement.  

Corsets are fully adjustable at the back. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip independently for the perfect fit. Our patterns have been developed and tested to fit a variety of body shapes using these adjustments.

The majority of the tension running through a corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. The hip and bust can be "Opened" or "Closed" to fit provided the waist is accurate.

Love love love my new corsets! Fabulous quality and such good value. I like to wear them under 50s style swing dresses to help me achieve that gorgeous hourglass silhouette, and I’m so impressed by the ‘invisible’ clasps - I swear that by the time it’s laced up, and adjusted accordingly, you would never know I was wearing it! The sizing calculator on the website is a godsend. I had sizing doubts when the corsets arrived, but by the time they were fitted correctly I found the sizing to be true. I opted for plain designs (because I’ll be wearing them under my clothes) and found these to be simple and tasteful. The weight of the corsets is an indicator of their quality, and while not heavy they are certainly robust...perfect for lacing as tightly as you care to! Exactly what I wanted, exactly what I was hoping for, and didn’t disappoint.
My single ‘room-for-improvement’ is that it would be nice to know the height/dress size of the models in the product photo shoots, simply to be able to gauge more of an idea of fit. I know that the busk measurements are available in the product description, but it can be hard to envisage without a comparison, and at 5ft 9 nothing is ever quite as ‘longline’ as I’d like it to be! But that’s just me nitpicking an otherwise faultless experience. I’m sure I’ll be buying from corset story again in future, and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to take the plunge into their own corset story!

Beautiful product. Amazing quality. Just got me I didn’t like the hip panels as I found them a bit hard to disguise and wanted something more discreet. I also found a smaller size would work better as I couldn’t fill the cup size (ordered size 26) but the smaller ones (24) work better there.

Had to return as it was wayyyy too tall, I’m 5’2 and never usually have a problem with torsos not fitting, and the bust was extremely big even though I have a larger than average bust. Also not as good quality as I’m used to from this site.
